About The Reef
The reef is home to an enormous population a kaleidoscope of life and color.
Many fish, crabs, and sea shells have traveled thousands of miles through
dangerous open seas to make it to this magical haven. They now live in peace
in colorful coral homes that they’ve reestablished from “seed” polyps. They
don’t all necessarily get along all the time, but the ecosystem is balanced
and the natural harmony has created a peaceful environment where everyone has
a chance to live a life they enjoy.
Much of the live and diversity is destroyed in the chaos, during the
devastating barge incident. As the uncontained human garbage leaks onto the
reef it becomes your mission, aided by the 5 surviving Master Reef fish to
rebuild the reef back to its former glory.
The 5 Master Reef Fish
Crab
Crab is a very old Master builder dude. He’s the reef’s chief
builder/handyman. He likes to reminisce about the old days, loves a good
story and is always up for an exciting adventure where he can share his
wisdom and wealth of experience.
Lion fish
Lion is “king” of the reef. Most folks like him because he has a good
heart and truly loves the reef even if he is a bit pompous. He thinks
himself as almighty and powerful, but really he’s more bark than bite.
Puffer fish
He’s the reef’s chief architect/designer. He’s a little bit crazy, sort of
jekyl and hyde-ish; unsure and suspicious when deflated, a little arrogant
and a selfish when inflated. Since he’s the most poisonous fish in the
reef, he’s able to absorb and process some the man-made toxins to protect
the others, so he is appreciated.
Sting ray
Ray is Crab’s closest friend. Youngest of the 5 he is energetic and eager,
and belives he could take on any challenge. Ray really admires Crab and
hangs on every word of his adventurous stories from the old days as a
pioneering reef builder in dangerous water.
Angel fish
She’s the hard worker who keeps the reef running happy and smooth. She’s
the Lion’s right hand helper, and is constantly running around taking care
of the tasks that need to get done. She’s quiet, modest and reserved, yet
she’s as tough as nails.
